Sam Khan replies to Tinie Tempah with Never Pass Out

February 7th, 2010 By NikSquared

Tinie tempah Pass Out is a heavy heavy tune. After hearing a few other artists such as Bashy do versions, we sent the beat to Sam Khan coz’ we knew he would kill it differently .. and he duly obliged!

We received the completed track from Sam within one day so here it is!

He maintains the theme of the song but totally flips it on its head! No other artist has done that yet…

There’s a very interesting message in his lyrical content. He promotes Tinie’s album but then seemingly goes on to have a dig about the superficial nature of the game. Is he talking about Tinie we wonder?

So here it is,a brand new tune made in a day! Download Sam Khan – ‘Never Pass Out’ from here http://BSomebody.TV/SamKhan

Kano More Than One Way

February 7th, 2010 By NikSquared

We know this isn’t a new video but our website has only just got started, and Kano is our favourite artist in the UK and so had to make a post!

Tell me who hasn’t at least heard of Kano! One man who knows about the ups and downs of the industry.

First memories of Kano are during the period of ‘Lord of the Mic’. Since he began to put his lyricism forward releasing the well known ‘P & Qs’. Since then Kano was signed to Mike Skinner’s label, and as it went under he found himself yet again independent.

Kano has never stopped, he’s what he says he is, a ‘Hustler’, and adapted to the industry so well, releasing different unexpected genres and making them a hit, reaching chart positions independently.

We had the pleasure to see Kano live when Sam Khan supported him at ‘Touch:Me’ hosted by DJ Firestarr at Nottingham Trent. His stage presence was amazing and he’s a natural at interacting with the audience, as well as pumping tune after tune after tune, definitely worth every penny.

Kano’s latest project is entitled ‘More than one way’, where he expresses a notion that there is more than one way to succeed in life, as long as you put the hard effort in. Using Diploma students to create the music video, it exposes what their degrees and talents can lead too.

Loving the advert on National TV…support Kano and his positive movement by downloading the song for free here.

Bashy Pass Out

February 6th, 2010 By NikSquared

‘RAGGS 2 RICHES!’, BISH BASH BOSH….And to riches Bashy will be – he is one man we fully respect in the scene, he is in a very strong position in his career which has come directly from his hard work and enthusiasm to excel in all areas of the industry.

Urban Music Award (2008) for Most Inspirational Artist, Screen Nation Award (2008) for Best Music Performance in Film/TV; these 2 awards speak for themselves.

Bashy has also been recognised for his amazing theatre performance in Jonzi D’s – Markus the Sadist and is soon to be on the big screens in a new film called Shank. Does this guy ever stop?!

Above is Bashy’s version of ‘Pass Out’ by Tinie Tempah…and what a version it is! ‘There ain’t nobody badder, brother from the manor…rapper and an actor!!’

Oh and one more thing, Bashy has some of the maddest t’s in the game, gotta get us some of them!

Mz Bratt

February 6th, 2010 By NikSquared

Beautiful, commercial, fresh…Mz Bratt is blossoming into a fine young artist, flying the flag for the female MC’s, she’s just popping up everywhere; Griminal – Invincible, Ghetts – Skadoosh, supported N-Dubz to name a few.

Mz Bratt caught our attention with her first video ‘Who Do You Think You Are’, bringing a funky electro sound, you could see her commercial potential. Don’t get it twisted though, she can spit bars lads! We’ve seen the freestyles!

Mz.Bratt has recently hooked up with the UK R&B singer Sadie Ama, to record another catchy tune ‘I Like You’. Shout out of course to Terror Danjah for this feel good production. Is that Griminal in the video as well?! He’s also popping up everywhere!

Keep it locked to twitter with @BrattOnline and her @MzBrattSupport, they’re a great pair to follow and definitely ones to look out for, we feel big things are in line for her!

Jail Tales Lioness By SBTV

February 6th, 2010 By SamKhanMusic

”Them prisons are no Joke Visions of No Hope
You Wont Cope if you Let that Cloud You
But stay focussed and you’ll be proud to..
say that you’ve come out a changed man
but you Dont wanna change man
coz your going back in for the same thing
I don’t understand why you move with the same plan”

Lioness spits some real talk in this clip for BBC Three’s upcoming multiplatform project Jail Tales, filmed edited and produced by the camera king everybody knows as SBTV.

This project is gonna be a real eye opener about the harsh realities of jail time and how it affects the people involved, so I’m really looking forward to hearing the rest of the freestyles as well as peeping the short films!

Gotta big up SB for showing what hard work and dedication can lead to. Going from youtube to the BBC in two years is more like a ‘Fairy Tale’ but his rise to the forefront of our urban scene today has taken place in front of everyones eyes and no one can say he doesn’t deserve to be where he is.

Jai Amore at iLuvLive

February 5th, 2010 By SamKhanMusic

Get to know this singer called Jai Amore mayyn! Proof that UK RnB is well and truly alive… here’s a clip of him performing at iLuvLive in Camden this week. He has BIG stage presence, charisma and a great natural talent (check out his improvised website plug at 3.20 mins for proof!)

I recently had a really interesting discussion with him about the music industry and discovered what an honest artist he is. Determined to make music he loves and not water down just to please the industry, Jai Amore’s original approach combined with his great voice and unmatched live show can only mean big things on the horizon .. no doubt.

His album entitled TALES FROM A SINGING BACHELOR is soon to be released and you can find out more about this talented singer/songwriter at JaiAmoreWorld
