The count down has begun. 2010 is definitely looking very healthy regarding the UK film industry, with Shank the movie around the corner, and now the new anticipated film from, Orange BAFTA Rising Star Award winning director Noel Clarke, who previously directed well known films; KiDULTHOOD & AdULTHOOD.
Any one who has seen those two films know exactly what Noel is capable of, and as confusing as this teaser trailer seems, we can tell this is definitely going to be a high action packed crime thriller, with 4 main strong beautiful women to lead the story.
Noel Clarke has an amazing eye for talented Actors and Actresses as we have seen in his previous films, and yet again he pulls together another all star cast with; Bashy, Adam Deacon, Plan B, Emma Roberts, Shanika warren-Markland, Tamsin Egerton, Ophelia Lovibond and off course no Noel Clarke film would be complete without his signature mark of himself being involved.
The official poster for the film is out on Thursday, and we just can’t wait for this film to hit the cinema screen.
Industry Take Over 2010 Live Performances
We attended the Industry Take Over seminar at the weekend. If your trying to advance in the music industry, then you should of really been there.
Many lectures were held regarding how the UK music scene is blowing up, how to be involved and also an understanding of how the industry works.
Speakers on the panel were Ras Kwame, Terror Danjah, Hattie Collins, Posty (Grime Daily), Twin B and many more.
One thing we picked up on, is there is so many ways people can be involved within the music industry; Journalism, artist, producer, DJ, Promoter, Manager, the list is endless…but without these professions the UK music scene wouldn’t be the strength it is now.
We were blessed at the end of a long day to be able to see some of the best UK acts perform live, and it was at this point seeing the artists we have loved and followed for years turning their hard work and dreams to reality; Ghetts, Mz.Bratt, Griminal, Ny, Wretch 32, Princess Nyah, Master Shortie, Tribal Man and Roxanne.
This video is a definite need to watch, the 1st live version of Ghetts ‘Destruction of the Eiffel Tower’.

Menis Ft Jai Amoré – Where’s My Money?
Hot off the heels from his ‘Kool 2 B Asian’ track Menis is back with some fire! This guy is not to be underestimated. This tune is definitely a grower and now can’t get the dam chorus out of my head, always a good sign! If this had a major label backing it would be sure to chart.
Also in the track is Jai Amore who compliments the track very well. He’s also someone to make major waves this year. Check out his I Luv Live performance we blogged.
If Menis keeps up this quality he will be a force to be reckoned with!
GEO TV – Behind The Scenes Of Galactic Love – Psykick Ft Sonical & Mix
So many people to show respect to within this behind the scenes footage of Psykick’s new single.
Psykick is an up and coming UK rapper and also the founder of Wordplay clothing line.
The track is an up tempo hiphop track, with a very fun commercial feel, and all the artists have attacked this track on point. Very catchy, And looking at the behind the scenes, we are in for a live fun entertaining video.
Shout out to Geo on the directing and editing of the video. He is an up and coming designer in the scene, and extremely talented and creative. He was telling me recently about the release of his new online Geo TV. We’ll be featuring some of the sketches on here, so stay tuned for him.
Also whilst watching this video, we would like to shout out all the models participating within the scene. A model’s career within the indusrty is very hard as we learnt from reading an interesting article from a model known as ‘Danielle Miller’. These models grind just as hard to ‘B Somebody’ just as much as the artists. BIG YA’SELVES UP!

Illamadi of course bringing pure swagga, it’s only a matter of time this rapper gets noticed big time, not only for his music but for being the co-creator of Lyrics4Lyrics.
