History

Sam Khan wrote his first lyrics at the age of 8 for a school homework piece. In his early teens he began to structure his poems into verses, choruses and bridges, soon becoming a self taught songwriter. Raised on Chalkhill Estate in Wembley by a single parent on income support, Sam Khan’s humble background and lofty ambitions continue to be the driving force behind his inspirational life ethos … to ‘B Somebody’.

The rap sensation that is Sam Khan is a unique talent. He receives regular airplay by DJs such as Manny Norte on Kiss100FM , Semtex on BBC 1xtra and Friction, Kayper & Limelight on the BBC Asian Network .

He is the 7 Time JumpOff Rap Champion (UK’s biggest monthly Hip Hop Festival) and a 2 Time UK Songwriting Contest Finalist.

Sam Khan’s music video for ‘Midsweet Summer’ ft Blazay (Star of UK movies Kidulthood/Adulthood) received heavy rotation on Sky Channel AKA and Brit Asia TV as well as being featured on countless blogs.

He has performed alongside chart topping acts such as Chipmunk, Ironik and Kano at live shows and has Youtube video hits totaling over 1 million!
