Sam Khan managed to catch Raghav pass through the London Mela, showcasing his brand new single ‘So Much’ that features Konvict Music’s Kardinal Offishall, produced none other than the man behind the hits; ‘Pass Out’ & ‘Frisky’ by Tinie Tempah.
He couldn’t leave without performing his classic hit ‘So Confused’ alongside Iceberg Slim.
Charlie Sloth GAME OVER (ft Little Dee & Genesis Elijah)
UK Hip Hop independent legend, Charlie Sloth is ploughing through with the promotion of his latest Mixtape and project, ‘The Black Book’.
Already we have featured the release of ‘Not Like You’, ft Black the Ripper & Farma J.
Now the release of GAME OVER, featuring the OG’z Little Dee & Genesis Elijah, a name we keep hearing.
Little Dee really impressed me on this track. Generally from a grime back ground, he’s been proving his versatility in the urban scene, exploring different genres. Not a normal track for him to do, but he got the flow on point, bars locked, and is showing everyone out there he can do this music game.
Genesis Elijah has been on the scene for a while, more underground, but over the past few month his name has been cropping up regularly. The Brixton rapper has a well respected name already collaborating with some of the greatest UK Hip Hop pioneers such as; SkinnyMan, Terra Firma & Wordsmith.
Charlie Sloth is really taking the ‘Game’ into his own hands now, The video suits the theme of the track, a ‘Super Mario’ game play theme. Collecting coins and knocking out the enemies that stand in these artists ways.
That’s the grind and Charlie is really taking the ‘GAME OVER’.
We attended the Industry Take Over seminar at the weekend. If your trying to advance in the music industry, then you should of really been there.
Many lectures were held regarding how the UK music scene is blowing up, how to be involved and also an understanding of how the industry works.
Speakers on the panel were Ras Kwame, Terror Danjah, Hattie Collins, Posty (Grime Daily), Twin B and many more.
One thing we picked up on, is there is so many ways people can be involved within the music industry; Journalism, artist, producer, DJ, Promoter, Manager, the list is endless…but without these professions the UK music scene wouldn’t be the strength it is now.
We were blessed at the end of a long day to be able to see some of the best UK acts perform live, and it was at this point seeing the artists we have loved and followed for years turning their hard work and dreams to reality; Ghetts, Mz.Bratt, Griminal, Ny, Wretch 32, Princess Nyah, Master Shortie, Tribal Man and Roxanne.
This video is a definite need to watch, the 1st live version of Ghetts ‘Destruction of the Eiffel Tower’.
