Massive new single by Singer/Songwriter Selah. She couldn’t have picked better collaborations for the track – Mz Bratt & Sadie Ama!

Selah has been working hard on the scene for a while now, where the song ‘Because of you’ was SINGLE OF THE WEEK on Sara Cox’s show and the likes of Zane Lowe dubbing it the ‘HOTTEST RECORD IN THE WORLD’. Let’s hope the success continues.

Good to see DaVinche always exploring different genres. He’s a beast!

‘ABOUT 2 B’ WINNER MZ.KELLY

We set a competition last month to produce a logo for a series of projects we will be running, called ‘ABOUT 2 B’.
The prize was payment, A ‘B Somebody’ T-Shirt and an interview.

We are proud to announce That Mz.Kelly is the official ‘About 2 B’ Winner!

The design is short, sweet and simple, gets our message out on immediate look! She has used our ‘B’ logo and brightened it up with this colourful camouflage effect, contrasting it with the ‘spotlight’, navy blue background to emphasise our brand. Love it!

Mz.Kelly is an extremely hard working young lady; Working for Mz.Bratt support team on the twitter, designing for many artist’s, while juggling University and a job. One person who is definitely ‘About 2 B Somebody’!

Her latest work which we had to feature is her new twitter layout for the up-rising girl trio, RD Official.

Also on her website (which will be inputted to our Blog-roll) was this 3D animation video she has created for her Final Year course. Based on her own vision of a game ‘Toon Me’. Kelly you deserve the top grades!

Industry Take Over 2010 Live Performances

We attended the Industry Take Over seminar at the weekend. If your trying to advance in the music industry, then you should of really been there.

Many lectures were held regarding how the UK music scene is blowing up, how to be involved and also an understanding of how the industry works.

Speakers on the panel were Ras Kwame, Terror Danjah, Hattie Collins, Posty (Grime Daily), Twin B and many more.

One thing we picked up on, is there is so many ways people can be involved within the music industry; Journalism, artist, producer, DJ, Promoter, Manager, the list is endless…but without these professions the UK music scene wouldn’t be the strength it is now.

We were blessed at the end of a long day to be able to see some of the best UK acts perform live, and it was at this point seeing the artists we have loved and followed for years turning their hard work and dreams to reality; Ghetts, Mz.Bratt, Griminal, Ny, Wretch 32, Princess Nyah, Master Shortie, Tribal Man and Roxanne.

This video is a definite need to watch, the 1st live version of Ghetts ‘Destruction of the Eiffel Tower’.
