Acts Set for Party for Pakistan

B Somebody are in full support of raising awareness and money for the Pakistan Flood Appeal, so when this event came up, we had to share it with the rest of the UK!

Aggro Santos, Riz MC (pictured), Mz Bratt, Akala and Kayvan Novak, aka Fone/Facejacker, are among the acts who will be performing at the Party for Pakistan, a charity concert to raise money for those affected by flooding in Pakistan, taking place later this month.

The event takes place on September 29 at the O2 Academy in Islington. Tickets are £10 in advance, £12.50 on the door, with all profits going directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee. All artists will be performing for free and all organisers are working voluntarily.

This will be the first live performance from C4 star Fone/Facejacker. Completing the bill are DJ Nihal, Nero, Mumzy Stranger and True Tiger.

“The scale of suffering in Pakistan is unfathomable,” says Riz MC. “An area the size of Italy is flooded and a population equal to Australia is now homeless. The party for Pakistan aims to raise money and awareness by enlisting some of the best names in UK music for an unforgettable event.”

Mz.Bratt – Selecta [Official Video]

We featured ‘Selecta’ a few month’s back when it was leaked, since Bratt has been doing the rounds; performed in Ayia Napa, hitting major radio stations and making sure it’s being pumped in the clubs.

Redlight is on the production and the video shot by ‘Tim & Barry’, capturing the ‘brightness’, that this track shines!

Retro & ‘old skool’, Mz.Bratt really makes this track different, bringing the rap to jazz.

Single is released on 16th August 2010, & is the title track to the debut album Box Of Secrets, also out in August.

WOW! When Mz.Kelly said to me Bratt’s new track is a Banger, we wasn’t expecting this! Jheeeeze!
She’s upped the levels and flown past all the other female UK mc’s out there with this one, and its gonna be hard to compete!

Experimenting with her flow proper feeling the carribean accent and catchy hooks, such a fresh new vibe!

Massive new single by Singer/Songwriter Selah. She couldn’t have picked better collaborations for the track – Mz Bratt & Sadie Ama!

Selah has been working hard on the scene for a while now, where the song ‘Because of you’ was SINGLE OF THE WEEK on Sara Cox’s show and the likes of Zane Lowe dubbing it the ‘HOTTEST RECORD IN THE WORLD’. Let’s hope the success continues.

Good to see DaVinche always exploring different genres. He’s a beast!

‘ABOUT 2 B’ WINNER MZ.KELLY

We set a competition last month to produce a logo for a series of projects we will be running, called ‘ABOUT 2 B’.
The prize was payment, A ‘B Somebody’ T-Shirt and an interview.

We are proud to announce That Mz.Kelly is the official ‘About 2 B’ Winner!

The design is short, sweet and simple, gets our message out on immediate look! She has used our ‘B’ logo and brightened it up with this colourful camouflage effect, contrasting it with the ‘spotlight’, navy blue background to emphasise our brand. Love it!

Mz.Kelly is an extremely hard working young lady; Working for Mz.Bratt support team on the twitter, designing for many artist’s, while juggling University and a job. One person who is definitely ‘About 2 B Somebody’!

Her latest work which we had to feature is her new twitter layout for the up-rising girl trio, RD Official.

Also on her website (which will be inputted to our Blog-roll) was this 3D animation video she has created for her Final Year course. Based on her own vision of a game ‘Toon Me’. Kelly you deserve the top grades!
